Hays Marketing is proud to be working in partnership with a Membership organisation based in Bedfordshire who, due to a recent restructure of their marketing team, they now have a new exciting opportunity for a Head of Marketing, Membership & Sales to join their team.

Reporting to the CEO, the new Head of Marketing, Membership & Sales, your role will be to develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy.to drive substantial revenue growth and market expansion. You will identify and capitalise on new commercial opportunities, including product/service development and strategic partnerships.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Revenue Generation & Business Development:
    Set and achieve ambitious revenue targets, develop strategies to penetrate new markets, and cultivate high-value partnerships.
  • Marketing & Brand Commercialisation:
    Oversee marketing campaigns, evolve the brand, and utilise data-driven insights to optimise performance.
  • Sales Optimisation:
    Implement a high-performance sales culture, develop sales strategies, and analyse sales data to maximise outcomes.
  • Commercial Digital Transformation:
    Spearhead digital commercialisation, optimise digital channels, and enhance member retention.
  • Financial Management & Analytics:
    Manage the commercial budget, monitor OKRs, and provide performance reports to senior management.
  • Team Leadership:
    Build and lead a high-performing team, foster a culture of innovation and accountability, and ensure seamless integration between functions.

The ideal candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Proven track record of leading a team through change and transformation
  • Proven track record in senior commercial roles with a focus on revenue generation and market expansion.
  • Extensive experience in developing and executing commercial strategies.
  • Strong background in commercial analytics, financial management, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to drive high-performing teams to achieve their targets.
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional business acumen and problem-solving abilities.
  • Superb negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is highly preferred.
