The Role
Reporting to a senior finance leader, you will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic decision-making, implementing new processes, and collaborating across various departments. Key responsibilities include:
Financial Management & Reporting
- Budgeting, forecasting, and preparing consolidated management accounts for multiple entities.
- Ownership of AP, AR, and GL processes while upskilling and mentoring a small finance team.
- Month-end P&L variance analysis and internal management reporting.
Strategic Projects
- Driving technology transformation and managing project costs, benefits, and post-implementation performance.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver operational performance monitoring and business-critical insights.
- Developing and implementing new processes, internal controls, and systems to enhance efficiency.
Business Partnering
- Partnering with senior stakeholders, including department heads and external partners, to influence strategic decisions.
- Providing commercial analysis and evidence-based recommendations to drive performance.
- Monitoring ongoing projects and delivering high-quality service to both internal and external stakeholders.
The Person
Requirements as a Finance Business Partner
- Professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with senior stakeholders.
- Strong leadership abilities to foster a positive team culture and support team development.
- Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyse and manipulate large datasets.
- A track record of adding value through strategic decision-making and innovation.

- £50,000 - £55,000 DOE and negotiable
