Forward Role is excited to be supporting a leading UK retailer in Manchester who are looking to hire an experienced BI Data Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment while driving impactful data strategies.

Role responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and manage data warehousing solutions to ensure that data is ready for BI processes.
• Lead stakeholder meetings, gather BI requirements, and act as a key liaison to drive a data-driven culture across the organisation.
• Oversee end-to-end BI engineering, modelling, and reporting, with a focus on Power BI and custom solutions.
• Develop automated data pipelines and forecasting models using Python.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and governance standards are upheld across all BI operations.

Key skills/ experience:

• Experience across retail or similar sectors with a deep understanding of BI processes and tools.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL and Python.
• Expertise in managing data staging, warehousing, and BI modelling to deliver actionable insights.
• Experience in developing forecasting models using Python and automating data processes.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings, gather requirements, and promote a data-driven mindset across teams.

This is a hybrid role, the successful candidate will be based in the office 2 days a week
