Pay Rates: £21 - £23 per hour

Contract: 1 Day per Week (Preferably Mondays or Tuesdays)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert Hand Therapy services to patients with a variety of hand and wrist-related conditions, including both acute and chronic cases.
• Work with patients across multiple disciplines, including acute elective, acute trauma, plastics, and rheumatology.
• Provide bespoke splinting to meet individual patient needs.
• Manage wounds, including removing stitches as required.
• Develop personalized recovery and rehabilitation plans for a broad range of hand/wrist pathologies.
• Independently manage a caseload while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience working in a Hand Therapy setting, with a sound understanding of hand pathologies and their management.
• Proven ability to assess, treat, and support recovery for acute trauma and elective cases.
• Experience in plastics and rheumatology hand therapy.
• Competent in splinting and wound management.
• Ability to develop and implement tailored rehabilitation plans for patients.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively within the department.
