A welcoming school in NG4 is seeking two dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their Enhanced Provision, providing 1:1 support to pupils with ASD. The mainstream school are looking to move quickly and appoint both roles for January 2025 starts.

• Work 1:1 with pupils, tailoring support to their individual needs.
• Encourage participation in learning activities and help develop social and communication skills.
• Collaborate with the SENCO, teachers, and parents to implement effective strategies.
• Foster a nurturing environment, helping each child to thrive academically and emotionally.
• Ensure the classroom remains a positive, inclusive space for all pupils.

• Previous experience working with children with ASD or in a similar SEND setting.
• Strong understanding of strategies to support children with ASD, including sensory and communication needs.
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet the needs of individual pupils.
• Proactive and collaborative mindset, with excellent communication skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
