Leasing Executive
Role Objectives The Leasing Executive will play a key role in facilitating the leasing process by preparing and finalising offer letters, lease documentation, and maintaining accurate records in relevant systems. This role ensures a smooth and efficient leasing experience for landlords and tenants.
Key ResponsibilitiesLease Preparation and Documentation
- Draft offer letters, Heads of Terms, lease agreements, completion statements, and assemble all necessary supporting documentation.
- Gather and compile information for pre-contract inquiries and address any related questions.
Negotiation and Communication - Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants or their representatives within established parameters.
- Draft customised lease clauses and respond to inquiries about property details, deal terms, and contract provisions.
Transaction Management - Track and follow up on leasing applications, providing regular updates to Sales Managers on transaction progress.
- Accurately document each stage of the leasing process in the appropriate database.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-completion checks on leases, ensuring transaction records are accurate and complete.
Landlord and Tenant Documentation - Assist in drafting and managing agreements, including assignments, sublettings, rent review memorandums, wayleave agreements, deeds of surrender, and notices to quit.
- Review and prepare notices for lease renewals in line with legal requirements.
Data Integrity and Reporting - Record all completed transactions and notices accurately in the property management database.
- Perform quality assurance checks on legal documents and other materials before distribution or implementation.
Additional Responsibilities - Adhere to all internal policies and procedures as outlined by the organization.
- Support health and safety initiatives by following policies, reporting incidents or hazards, and collaborating with the Health and Safety team.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, in line with the role’s scope and responsibilities.
