Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

Elevation have the pleasure of working with a fast growing FMCG business based in the Dinnington, Sheffield area. This leading manufacturing company, are looking for an Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their well established team!

Hours: Monday to Friday - 8am - 4pm - DAYS ONLY! - No Night Shifts 

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

Location: Sheffield

This role is suitable for Mechanical or Electrical bias Engineer

Duties of an Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• Working on injection moulding machines and presses
• Implementing and create PPM’s on a daily basis
• Ensure equipment is operating correctly to minimise machinery downtime
• Modifications and continuous improvement will be a big focus on this role also
• Occasionally going to different sites to discuss improvements
• Assist with machine installations as the business grows
• Working with other departments working to continuous improvement to ensure the business is the best it can be

Desired experience of a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or but must have knowledge in both (City and Guilds – Apprentice trained)
• Must have experience within a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer role previously
• Ideally have 3+ years experience outside of apprenticeship
• Must have experience with injection moulding machinery over career as is the focus of the role
• Must be IT literate
• Must be slightly flexible on working hours for the needs of the business
• Must have the good work ethic, someone who can work independently and within a team environment
• Must be a forward thinking individual, this is just a starting point for the right candidate
