Cover Supervisor

Academics are actively recruiting for cover supervisors for our secondary schools in the Wakefield area. If you are a recent graduate looking to gain some classroom experience to further develop your skills then this will be the perfect role for you! Cover supervisors play a vital part within the education industry and we have some fantastic upcoming opportunities!

As a cover supervisor you will be responsible for covering pre planned lessons, this will involve making sure all the students are on track and are working too a good standard. You will also be responsible for managing student's behaviour and implementing the behaviour policy if necessary.

Flexibility will be required for the role of a cover supervisor, as you will be expected to cover multiple subjects and will be teaching all year groups across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

For the role of a cover supervisor we are looking for individuals that can meet the following requirements:

• Must have a DBS on the update service
• Right to work in the UK
• A relevant degree
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.
