Cover Supervisor

Are you a recent graduate looking to gain some classroom experience to further develop your career? You may be have some experience working with children outside the classroom as a Coach or a tutor?

Look no further, Academics are seeking for a passionate and enthusiastic cover supervisor to work at one of our highly regarded secondary schools in the North Leeds area. This will be a long term vacancy starting in January 2025 and will run until the end of the Academic year with the high possibility of a direct contract from September 2025.

Responsibilities of cover supervisor:

• Covering a range of subjects to students across KS3 and KS4
• Managing behaviour and ensuring that the students are reaching their full potential.
• Ensure safety of the students and report any concerns to the safeguarding lead.
• Display great organisational skills and make sure the lessons run smoothly.

Requirements for a cover supervisor:

• A degree
• Excellent communication skills
• Right to work in the UK
• Strong behaviour management with the ability to control a classroom
