Management Accountant

Role: Management Accountant
Location: Leicester, LE9
Salary: £40,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5

Our client, a global freight forwarder, is seeking to appoint a Management Accountant to its existing finance team. This role becoming available due to the retirement of the existing staff member.

Duties for the Management Accountant:

• day to day accounts in GBP, Euro and Dollar
• weekly cash flow
• month end close of ledgers
• bank reconciliations
• processing of pensions and payrolls
• monthly reporting to the FD
• quarterly VAT
• stock sheet preparations
• petty cash, credit cards and expenses
• point of contact for external audit teams
• monitor budgets and forecasts

Experience for the Management Accountant:

• AAT qualified or QBE
• previous management accounts experience
• drive and energy
• excellent communication skills
• familair with accounting software packages
