Design Engineer

Design Engineer required to join a well-established manufacturing company that is a leading provider of architectural and structural steel fabrication solutions. The successful candidate will have previous Designing experience within the Structural Steel industry.

• Liaise with customers, architects and engineers.
• Creating Tekla models based on Architects & Engineers drawings incorporating site surveys.
• Preparing GA's and IFC's for customer approval.
• Preparing part drawings, DXF's and NC files for sub contract manufacturing.
• Preparing Assembly drawings and detailed workshop drawings for manufacture.

• 3+ years of Design Engineering experience with use of TEKLA or Solidworks
• An understanding / experience with structural steel
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Based in a commutable distance of Halifax

• Full time - Permanent
• Salary £30,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
• Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 17:00. Friday 07:30 - 14:30. Permanent position
