We are seeking a dedicated and understanding tutor to support a Year 11 learner in an alternative provision setting, either online or in person. The focus will be on helping the learner achieve success in their GCSEs by providing personalised academic support and fostering a comfortable, engaging learning environment.
Key Details:
Location: Lincoln (online or in-person options available)
Hours: 6.5 hours per week
Learner Profile: The learner has Asperger's syndrome, ADHD, and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.

Experience with SEN and SEMH: Proven ability to work with learners with Asperger's syndrome, ADHD, and SEMH needs.
Organisation Skills: Ability to support the learner in developing strong organisational habits and study routines.
Empathy and Patience: Ability to create a supportive environment by recognising and responding to the learner's emotional cues.
Adaptability: Skilled in tailoring teaching methods to the learner’s preferences, including incorporating physical activities into learning.
Encouraging and Motivational: Able to inspire confidence and keep the learner motivated towards achieving their GCSE goals.
