Management Accountant

We’re recruiting for a Management Accountant to join an innovative SME manufacturing business at an exciting stage of its growth journey. You’ll work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, closely supporting both the business owner and a highly experienced Finance Director.

This Management Accountant has a unique opportunity to make a real impact, combining financial expertise with strategic insight to drive business success.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Preparing and analyzing monthly management accounts, delivering clear insights into business performance.
• Leading on forecasting and budgeting, helping shape the strategic direction of the business.
• Partnering with operational teams to drive cost efficiencies and profitability improvements.
• Supporting the Finance Director with cash flow management, capital expenditure, and ad hoc financial projects.
• Playing a pivotal role in identifying and implementing process improvements to support growth and scalability.

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified or part-qualified Management Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with SME or manufacturing experience.
• A strong commercial mindset and the ability to translate numbers into actionable business insights.
• Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
• Strong Excel skills, and ideally experience of working with an ERP
• Ambition and drive to grow with the business, taking on increased responsibility over time.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
