THE OPPORTUNITY

A Senior Accountant position has arisen within the firm which offers responsibility for managing clients, reviewing work completed by junior staff and overseeing delivery of the firm's bespoke solutions.

As a Senior Accountant your role will involve:

• Managing the workflow and portfolio of bookkeeping. VAT and management accounts clients
• Year end work/corporation tax/personal tax/audits
• Portfolio of your own clients with some management accounts, VAT returns, Statutoy accounts and attendance at client board meetings to support with advice
• Looking at technology and ways of improving the processes - use of AI

THE PERSON

You will be an Accountancy professional able to demonstrate the following:

• AAT Qualified or ACCA Part-Qualified / ACCA / ACA Qualified/ Qualified by Experience
• Background within Accountancy Practice (c.3+ years)
• Experience of Bookkeeping, Management Accounts, Statutory Accounts
• Experience of working with SME and Owner-Managed businesses
• Good working knowledge of Xero and possibly other online / cloud accounting software
