Warehouse Operative

MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Durham area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for an ongoing position.

The Role:

• Attend pre shift team meetings, discuss workload and targets for the day ahead
• Report any issues which may occur during shift back to team leaders
• Working in a busy, fast paced warehouse environment
• Quality checking and inspecting all products, checking for any issues and faults
• Meet companies’ high standard and deadlines
• Picking, preparing and quality assurance of items for orders and dispatch
• Labelling and assisting couriers and customers collecting from the warehouse
• Assisting with receiving goods in and checking for quality and quantity
• Perform manual handling and heavy lifting duties throughout the day
• Able to work as part of a team and/or individually to meet company high standard
• General housekeeping duties, ensure workspace is kept clean and safe at all times
• As Warehouse Operative you will complete stock checks and cycle counts updating the system accurately.
• As a Warehouse Operative you will be working with your team to maintain a clean, safe working area.

The Person:

• Warehouse Experience
• Manufacturing understanding
• Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and preferably has used warehousing software previously
• Good verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic and team player
• Ability to take & follow instructions

• 06:00 - 14:00pm
• 14:00pm to 22:00pm

The Pay:

• £12.87 per hour
