Behaviour Mentor Opportunity in Enfield

We are looking for a committed and empathetic Behaviour Mentor to join our school community in Enfield. About the Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work directly with students who may experience social, emotional, or behavioural difficulties, helping them to focus on learning and succeed within the school setting. You’ll provide one-on-one support, implement positive behaviour strategies, and collaborate with teachers and staff to create a productive and supportive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted behaviour support to students on a one-on-one or small-group basis.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement, motivation, and focus in the classroom.
  • Establish positive relationships with students, fostering confidence and resilience.
  • Work with teachers, support staff, and parents to provide consistent support and intervention.
  • Monitor student progress, adapting approaches to meet individual needs as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a behaviour support or mentor role within a school or youth setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with students.
  • Patience, resilience, and adaptability in challenging situations.
  • A commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive school culture.
