Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious SEN Teaching Assistant to join an exceptional SEN Secondary school located in the Speke area of Liverpool to work on a long-term basis starting as soon as possible!

You’ll be joining an inclusive and loving school, focused on diversity and promoting a safe academic environment for those with complex additional needs.

This is an exciting role for an experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential! 

What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:

• Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
• Support the pupil consistently on a 1:1 basis whilst responding to their individual needs
• Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate
• Deliver catch-up sessions

Essential Qualifications:

• Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.
• Must have a passion for education
• Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
• Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
• Must have experience using Personal Care
