• Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring their monthly bookkeeping is accurate and timely
• Performing daily bookkeeping tasks, such as maintaining sales ledgers, preparing supplier payment runs, and reconciling bank/credit card statements
• Accurately processing transactions in client accounts
• Preparing monthly/quarterly management reports and VAT returns
• Supporting clients through the transition to Making Tax Digital
• Assisting senior accountants with year-end accounts and tax return preparation for various business structures
• Providing administrative support to help the team run efficiently

• Proficiency in Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, Dext, Outlook, and Excel
• A strong understanding of double entry, VAT, and UK tax laws
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and virtually, to interact with clients confidently
• The ability to work independently, with support available from accountants and client managers when needed
• A team-oriented attitude, ready to collaborate and contribute
