Personal Tax Senior

Fantastic opportunity for a Personal Tax Senior to join a growing, independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Huddersfield.

This firm offers a range of services from accounts, audit, tax, corporate finance, and much more!

Established over a century ago, this firm works with a variety of clients, ensuring you get well-rounded experience to keep your work life balanced and interesting!

As a Personal Tax Senior, you will be responsible for:

• Managing your own portfolio of self-assessment tax clients.
• Preparation and review of Self-Assessment Tax Returns for individuals, partnerships, and Trusts, across a wide range of clients.
• Creating solutions for clients on a range of tax matters including Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and dealing with HMRC enquiries,
• Preparation of forms P11d and calculation of benefits in kind for employees.
• Assist with advisory work as and when required.

As a Personal Tax Senior, you will need:

• 3+ years' experience, having worked as a Personal Tax Senior or similar, in an Accountancy firm.
• ATT / CTA qualified or qualified by experience.
• Strong tax knowledge, with an understanding of corporate tax being advantageous but not essential.
