Your New Role as Personal Tax Manager:
As a Personal Tax Manager, you will take a lead role in managing and delivering personal tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of clients. You will oversee a portfolio of private clients, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and provide strategic tax planning advice. This is a great opportunity to enhance your technical expertise and develop leadership skills in a dynamic environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals, sole traders, and partnerships.
  • Reviewing self-assessment tax returns prepared by junior staff and providing technical guidance.
  • Advising clients on tax planning opportunities and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.
  • Handling more complex tax queries and investigations.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members to enhance their development.

The Experience & Qualifications Required:
The ideal candidate will be CTA, ATT, or ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with a strong background in personal tax gained within a practice environment. Excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to client management, and experience leading a team or mentoring others are essential for success in this role.
