Job Title: Lean Team Support Specialist
Working for a major supply chain partner
Location: Staffordshire, with some travel in the North West
Working Hours: Normally between 8:00am - 16:00 with some flexibility required. Monday to Friday.
How will you contribute?
- Support the development and integration of the Lean Strategy across the business through the delivery of a defined Roadmap and projects delivered to agreed timescales.
- Provide coaching and mentoring support to those who are executing Lean initiatives.
- Support the facilitation of projects, workshops and training to improve Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery that engage people to deliver sustainable, measurable change.
- Support Managers and Lean Specialists with data analysis to assure solutions implemented deliver the required benefit.
- Work with finance functions to support the mechanisms to track financial benefits.
- Support the Lean capability build across the network to ensure a sustainable pipeline of Lean Champions.
What will you bring?
- Experience in coaching teams and working collaboratively with key stakeholders, including senior level, in building mature Lean/Continuous Improvement capability within sites.
- Proven track record of implementing Lean in a supply chain, head office, and service environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships throughout the business and discuss complex issues in a plain and concise manner.
- Ability to identify, analyse and quickly assimilate information.
- Lean / C.I Practitioner Certification, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified, or equivalent.
