Finance Systems Manager / Lead Systems Accountant

Salary: Up to £80k per year

Location: East Midlands (2 days on-site)

Role Overview:
My client are seeking a Finance Systems Manager / Lead Systems Accountant to spearhead the development of their core financial system and integrate it into a new ERP solution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance and streamline workflows within the Hyperion system.
• Improve Hyperion's reporting functionality to support the Better Data Project.
• Conduct regular data cleansing for better auditing and archiving.
• Develop online financial reporting and support for HQ, budget holders, and sites.
• Lead and build a more efficient month-end process for Head Office and site finance teams.
• Develop efficient general IT/Finance processes.
• Create process documents for all finance systems and provide regular training/workshops.
• Serve as the first point of contact for finance systems.
• Collaborate with Global Process Owners on the Fusion project to standardise financial data structures, Chart of Accounts, and reporting hierarchies.
• Understand and improve the Hyperion structure and configuration.
• Resolve issues related to the mapping and input from site local finance systems to Hyperion.
• Support ad hoc requests related to financial systems within Group Finance.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record of high accountability, financial acumen, and significant experience in operating and configuring financial systems and conducting internal/external audits. They should be confident in working with both internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Experience:

• Systems implementations
• Configuring and working with Hyperion systems
• Understanding of accounting concepts
• Manufacturing accounting experience
• Delivering projects on time
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
