Finance Systems Accountant

Are you competent with operating and configuring financial systems? Do you have experience working for a large manufacturing organisation?  We are working with an international manufacturer who are looking for a Finance Systems Accountant on a permanent basis. The role will see you responsible for the development and maintenance of their core financial systems and support with month endreporting and consolidation. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and have a strong understanding of accounting concepts.

Initially 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, after probation 2 days in the office, 3 days from home

Job Description

• Overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of Hyperion consolidation system and be the first point of contact for any issues.
• Improve and develop workflows and the reporting functionality of Hyperion.
• Carry out regular data cleansing exercises to improve arching and auditing.
• Provide financial reporting analysis and support.
• Responsible for reviewing and ensuring other sites have reconciled intercompany balances at month end.
• Dealing with currency exchange rate implications and intercompany transactions adjustments.

• Proven experience working as a Finance Systems Accountant/Finance Systems Manager
• Strong accounting background
• Experience working within a large manufacturing organisation
• Well versed using consolidation/finance systems
