2 x SEN Class Teacher

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate supply teachers for two positions during the Summer term:

1. Maternity Cover Teacher

Join our team at to cover a maternity leave position. The class consists of students with severe learning disabilities, high medical needs, and complex physical disabilities. We are looking for a teacher who can provide a nurturing and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored lessons to meet the needs of students with severe learning disabilities and complex physical needs.
• Manage and support high medical needs in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience working with children with severe learning disabilities and complex physical needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient approach.

2. Post 16 Teacher

We are also looking for a teacher to join our Post 16 team. The class includes students with severe learning disabilities, ASD, and some behaviours that may challenge. This cohort is focused on developing life and independence skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver lessons aimed at enhancing life and independence skills for students with severe learning disabilities and ASD.
• Manage and support behaviours that may challenge.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team to create a supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience working with Post 16 students with special educational needs (SEN).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students.
