Accounts Payable Manager

Accounts Payable Manager - Leicestershire - Up to £50,000 - Hybrid (3/4 days office-based)

Macildowie are delighted to be partnering with a growing and ambitious organisation in Leicestershire to recruit an Accounts Payable Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced AP professional to take ownership of the end-to-end AP function, drive process improvements, and lead transformation projects in a dynamic environment.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

? Managing and developing a team of finance assistants, ensuring workloads are effectively allocated and deadlines are met
? Overseeing end-to-end accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate supplier payments
? Leading payment process improvements, including automation of invoice capture and electronic workflows
? Driving AP transformation projects, including system implementations and integration of new business acquisitions
? Acting as an escalation point for complex payment queries and disputes, ensuring excellent supplier relationships
? Implementing controls and governance to enhance AP accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
? Providing SAP Concur training and ongoing support for expenses and invoice users
? Supporting the wider finance team on month-end close and process enhancements

?? Proven experience in accounts payable leadership, with a track record of managing high-performing teams
?? Strong process improvement and change management skills, with experience in AP transformation projects
?? A customer-focused approach, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
?? A proactive mindset, keen to drive automation and efficiency improvements
?? SAP Concur experience or knowledge of other finance systems would be an advantage
