A Senior Planning Executive, who will be the point of contact between our internal Display and Programmatic teams as well as stakeholders from Brand and Partnership teams.
We are looking for an ambitious individual with digital campaign planning experience to join our growing team. The Senior Planning Executive will play a key role broadening the scope of our campaign activation, using an ongoing test and learn approach, with compliance constantly front of mind.
You will be responsible for responding to digital marketing briefs with plans that effectively meet the goals required, utilising the programmatic landscape and how certain inventory and creative partners can be used.
Another key area of focus will be streamlining our briefing process using existing experience to ensure we can effectively turn around high-quality brief responses. You will also have close relationships with the programmatic traders, helping to improve supply chain efficiencies, which will aid buying efficiencies with our key partners.
Successful applicants will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK from their first day of employment.
Preferred skills and experience
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Effective time-management skills with an ability to multitask and prioritise and help guide more junior team members.
- Deep understanding of the wider digital marketing landscape including SEO, paid search, paid social, as well as how programmatic fits alongside these channels.
- Experience planning programmatic campaigns, with knowledge of DSPs such as DV360, The Trade Desk, MediaMath, Yahoo or StackAdapt required.
- Experience in emerging programmatic channels such as CTV, Audio, DOOH.
- Confidence in presenting work to senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a global role is desirable.
- Additional languages are desirable.
Main Responsibilities
- Developing a framework strategy for programmatic buying, working with the Programmatic Manager to plan out annual budgets around key sports and events.
- Managing briefs, receiving them from the relevant team, pulling together justification for partner and platform choice in order to meet the set KPIs.
- Adopting a test and learn approach to continually refine all campaigns and present to the wider team on successes and areas for improvement.
- Be part of a team that ensures efficient and accurate execution of bet365 Programmatic activities, ensuring maximum value and ROI.
- Attaining relevant accreditations for platforms used by the business and help ensure training of more junior members is kept up to date.
- Working with the programmatic trading team to create weekly and end of campaign reports which are clear to the relevant team and can give actionable insight.
- Helping to improve supply chain efficiencies to ensure the best quality inventory is bought at the most effective rate.
- Working closely with the wider Display and Marketing Services teams to ensure overall marketing objectives are met.
