Manufacturing/Production Technician

We are actively recruiting for a Manufacturing/Production Operative to join a Leighton Buzzard based company. Our client are one of the market leaders in their sector/industry, and they are recruiting due to continued growth.

For this role, ALL candidates MUST have prior experience of working within a manufacturing or production environment.

Working Hours:

• 08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday, and 07:00 - 14:00 on Fridays.

Duties:

• Operating cutting and bevelling machines.
• Operating centreless grinders.
• Handling wet belt linishers.
• Completing lathe operating duties.
• Working on varying batch sizes.
• Hitting deadlines and targets.
• Adhering to health and safety/compliance processes.

Skills Needed:

• Knowledge of using a variety of hand-tools.
• Ability to handle small components and products.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Previous background within a manufacturing or production environment.
