About the Role:

A leading financial services firm in London is seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee their IT infrastructure and systems. This role involves managing a range of Microsoft technologies, VMware, Intune, Veeam backups, storage, and networking, ensuring operational efficiency, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
• Lead and mentor a team of 2 IT Support Analysts.
• Oversee cloud and hybrid environments (Azure), ensuring high availability and security.
• Ensure data security and compliance with financial industry regulations.
• Manage IT projects, vendor relationships, and IT budgets.
• Implement disaster recovery and IT continuity plans.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and support across the business.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in an IT Manager or Infrastructure Manager role, ideally within financial services or regulated environments.
• Expertise in Microsoft tech stack, including Office 365, Windows Servers and SharePoint.
• Hands on experience with VMware or Hyper V
• Veeam backups (or similar solutions such as Symantec)
• Experience managing cloud environments (Azure or AWS).
• Experience managing and troubleshooting network infrastructure such as routers, firewalls and switches.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with financial services regulations and compliance (e.g., GDPR, MiFID II).
