Assistant Accountant

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced interim Assistant Accountant to join a growing consultancy business in Cambridgeshire. This is a 3-month interim opportunity, offering a competitive hourly rate ranged from 16 to 19 GBP and the privilege to work mostly remotely.

Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Manage expense reporting and tracking.
• Handle prepayments and accruals.
• Provide general month-end support.
• Work closely with financial controller to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications Required:

• Relevant accounting experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong numerical skills.
• Excellent use of accounting software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
