Interim Financial Accountant

• The Interim Financial Accountant will be responsible for the financial statements and reporting.
• Production of financial statements as well as audit and tax compliance.

Description

• Preparation of financial statements including year-end reporting and audit and tax support to the Group Financial Controller.
• Complete a full set of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ownership of the Fixed Asset Register.
• Prepare the European entity GAAP accounts including tax support and other regulatory reporting
• Complete the quarterly and annual VAT return for the European entity.
• Ownership of the payment and reconciliation process
• Contribute to overall governance, regulatory and administrative requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the Group Finance Director, Group Finance team members and other group functions.

Profile

A successful Interim Financial Accountant should have:

• ACA or ACCA
• Taxation experience (desirable)
• Strong IT skills - MS Excel
• Experience of working to tight, statutory deadlines
