Description
Management Accountant
- Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights into cost drivers and trends.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets and cost-saving initiatives.
- Oversee inventory valuation and ensure accurate reporting of stock levels and movements.
- Conduct regular reconciliations and support cycle counts or stock audits.
- Analyze slow-moving and obsolete stock to optimize inventory levels.
- Identify inefficiencies in manufacturing and financial processes and recommend improvements.
- Work closely with operations teams to streamline cost control measures.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls to ensure data integrity.
- Act as a key financial partner to production and operations teams, providing insights and recommendations.
- Support decision-making by delivering clear and actionable financial information.
- Present financial reports and cost analysis to senior management.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Studying/Studied toward ACCA/CIMA
- Proficiency in budgeting and cost control principles
- Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and databases
- The ability to work well as part of a team and independently
