The Role
Our client is seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join their team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave (6-9 months). This role is for 2/3 days per week, with the possibility of full-time hours if the candidate is open to taking on additional office administrative tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions
- Reconcile bank accounts and statements
- Assist in the preparation of monthly reports
- Assist in the preparation of annual accounts
- Support the business with additional finance tasks when necessary
Desirable Skills - Strong experience as a bookkeeper or similar position
- AAT qualifications would be beneficial
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excell
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
Benefits - Competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 (pro rata) depending on experience and qualifications
