Machine Operator

Are you staying in or around Redditch? Have you worked before in a production or manufacturing environment?

We are currently for the Machine Operative role for an initial 3-month temporary position at DS Smith's Redditch location.

• Job Title: Machine Operative
• Pay: £12.04 per hour during training, Once fully trained on all the machines, it will increase to £14.44 per hour
• Overtime: After 8 hours and Saturdays: £18.06 per hour
• Job Type: Full Time, Temp to Perm Role
• Shift : During the training period, you will work a standard 8 am - 4 pm shift. Once fully trained, you must be prepared and flexible to work rotating shifts. 20% supplement for shift working
• Hours: 40 hours per week (Paid breaks provided)

Experience Required:

• Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible shifts

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain machinery
• Ensure smooth production flow and high-quality output
• Health and safety awareness, IOSH understanding
