Our special all through school is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Speech & Language Therapy Assistant.

This exciting opportunity is perfect for aspiring Speech and Language Therapists.

The successful Speech & Language Therapy Assistant will play a key role in implementing Speech and Language interventions, working closely with our team of therapists and will be responsible for creating resources needed for students to use.

Speech & Language Therapy Assistant - Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and preparing visual materials for therapy and classroom sessions.
• Working under the supervision of a Speech and Language Therapist and a class teacher.
• Keeping written records of pupil observations.
• Assisting in the provision of training to staff and colleagues.
• Carrying out general Therapy Assistant responsibilities across both school sites.

Speech & Language Therapy Assistant - The Role:

• Speech & Language Therapy Assistant
• Pay £95 per day
• Full-time
• Term-time hours of 35 hours per week
• Hours - 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
• Located in Redbridge

Speech & Language Therapy Assistant - Requirements:

• Speech & Language Therapy Assistant
• Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Excellent computer skills
• Happy and able to create resources for interventions
• Effective communication skills to interact with students, teachers, parents, and colleagues.
• Capacity to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
• Willingness to take guidance and direction from teachers and therapists.
• Ability to maintain written records and support students' literacy and numeracy development.
• Awareness of diverse learning needs and a commitment to inclusive education.
• Sympathetic approach to parents and understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
• Passion for education and a commitment to promoting the school's aims and ethos.
