The Role

We`re seeking passionate Flutter Developers with a solid technical foundation and a drive for creating exceptional mobile experiences. In this role you`ll work on a well-architected, business-critical app, built using modern Flutter practices. You`ll collaborate with product owners, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver features that meet the evolving needs of our users. Success in this role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and a commitment to technical excellence within an Agile environment.

What You`ll Be Doing

  • Developing and maintaining our mobile app, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Collaborating with designers and product owners to create market-leading solutions tailored to students`needs.
  • Writing clean, testable, and maintainable code using modern Flutter practices.
  • Reviewing pull requests, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical discussions.
  • Continuously refining processes, estimations, and technical documentation.
  • Debugging and optimising app performance to deliver a seamless user experience.
  • Presenting progress and results to stakeholders.

What We`re Looking for in You

  • Demonstrable experience of commercial Flutter development experience is required, with opportunities available for developers at junior, mid, and senior levels
  • Proficiency in Dart and a solid understanding of mobile development best practices.
  • Prior experience in mobile development with other frameworks (e.g., iOS/Android native) is a significant advantage.
  • Experience with state management solutions such as Riverpod, BLoC, or Provider.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON for backend integration.
  • Familiarity with Git and an understanding of version control workflows within a CI/CD pipeline.
  • Experience with automated testing and a commitment to writing high-quality, testable code.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
