Are you looking for a new opportunity within an Estate Agency that covers the Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire counties? We currently have a Branch Manager position available in Royston for a company who have been providing local and independent property services for the last 20 years. This branch quickly gained the market share, and has become one of the leading Estate Agents in town.

They also have a specialist lettings division with a team of experienced lettings professionals, providing expert knowledge and property management services to their clients.

The successful candidate must have previous estate agency experience at Valuer level, with local knowledge and familiarity to Royston and the surrounding areas. Management experience is not essential. You must be hungry, and driven, and wanting to step up your career into a management role, who can drive the business forward.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Negotiator/Valuer looking to fast track their career into Management!

You must hold a full UK driving licence and own your own car.

Salary and benefits of the Branch Manager position include:

  • Basic £30,000 - £35,000
  • OTE £50,000 to £75,000
  • Mon to Fri 9am to 6pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays 9am to 5pm (with a day back during the week)

Responsibilities of the Branch Manager position include:

  • Inspiring and motivating the team
  • Ensuring that processes are followed correctly, maximising every opportunity and applicant
  • Support with general office management and the day to day running
  • Bringing new and fresh ideas
  • Implementing a structured plan for the year ahead
  • Setting targets
  • Leading and supporting the team with targets
  • Meeting with clients
  • Carry out viewings and valuations of properties
  • Assessing buyers & sellers particular needs
  • Negotiating the offer between the buyer and the seller
  • Responding to queries via e-mail and telephone
  • Promoting properties via different mediums

The skills required for the Branch Manager role will include:

  • Have previous experience as a Valuer within Estate Agency
  • Must have a full understanding of property processes
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced, target driven environment
  • Be well spoken and presented
  • Be a good people person
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Also have outstanding organisational skills
  • Be able to inspire and lead others and work well in a team
  • Working to strict deadlines with a focus on detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and be a car owner
