Senior RF Electronics Enginer

Senior RF Electronics Engineer – Cambridge - £70,000 - £90,000 pa

Due to a rapidly increasing workload, an Electronics Manufacturer area is looking for an RF Electronics Engineer to join their team developing communication solutions used in a variety of sectors including defence & security, marine and emergency services.

Responsibilities:

• Design new high frequency RF products
• Product improvement
• Work in a multi-disciplinary team of mechanical, software & hardware engineers
• Produce & maintain, design & test documentation.
• Carry out design reviews

Key Skills/Experience

• Degree (or higher) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
• RF & Analogue design (VHF/UHF)
• RF Design (100 MHz – 1GHz)
• Great understanding and experience with RF Circuits and components (LNA/RF Amplifiers, oscillator/PLL’s, power amplifiers etc.)
• RF Test & measurement
• Analogue circuit design
• PCB design & layout

Any mix of the following is also nice to have:

• Discrete RF Design
• Programming languages (LabVIEW, Python, C/C++)
• EMC/EMI
