Location: Barking & Dagenham
Hours: Full-time or part-time, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only (38.6 weeks per year)
Salary: Full-time equivalent £21,544

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored one-on-one and small group support to ensure students feel included and valued.
• Help create a welcoming, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Deliver targeted interventions to support students' emotional and academic growth.
• Collaborate closely with teachers to develop strategies that meet the needs of children with diverse learning requirements.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents, fostering a supportive school community.
• Monitor student progress and actively contribute to meetings and reports when needed.

What We're Looking For:

• A genuine commitment to supporting children's well-being and education.
• Experience working with children, particularly in a pastoral or inclusion role (preferred but not essential).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to adapt, stay proactive, and work effectively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude toward supporting students with unique needs.
• A passion for making a meaningful difference in students' lives.
