Electrical Design Engineer

JOB – Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services
LOCATION – West Midlands - Coventry/ Warwickshire 
TERM - Permanent 
SALARY - £50,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience

A Birmingham based engineering consultancy are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. 

The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: 

• HND or equivalent/ higher Electrical Engineering or Building Services qualification or relevant discipline.
• 3 years’ experience in Electrical Design.
• Previous electrical design experience for BMS/ Commercial projects & environments.
• Good HVAC understanding.   
• Good understanding of BMS control systems.
• Full UK driving license
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The Electrical Design Engineer’s duties will involve:

• Producing electrical drawings & schematics to meet customer requirements.
• Liaising with customers & other departments within the company to ensure requirements are met.
• Attending site visits when required.
• Providing support to junior engineers when required.
• Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times.
