About the Role:
As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering our Continuous Improvement (CI) strategy. Reporting to the CI Manager, you'll collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to identify opportunities, redesign processes, and implement strategies that improve operational efficiency, financial performance, and the experience of both our customers and team members.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with the CI Manager to execute the organisation's CI strategy and embed best practices.
  • Lead process redesign projects, managing plans, mapping processes, and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Train, coach, and mentor colleagues on Lean and CI methodologies to build a culture of sustainable improvement.
  • Facilitate workshops and deliver tailored training to empower teams to drive their own improvements.
  • Analyse data to identify opportunities, measure impact, and monitor performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with Technology & Change teams to deliver innovative solutions aligned with business needs.

What You'll Bring:

  • Essential Skills:

    • Proven expertise in CI methods (Lean Green Belt or equivalent).
    • Experience with tools like DMAIC, Process Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, and Standard Work.
    • A track record of delivering CI projects and facilitating workshops with diverse teams.
    • Strong coaching and mentoring skills to foster a collaborative improvement culture.
    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage audiences across levels.
    • Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Desirable Skills:

    • Knowledge of Agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
    • Familiarity with business change management principles.
