Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (flexible hours)

Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant ready to thrive in a fast-paced and pivotal role?
Our client, located in the East End of Glasgow, is seeking a confident and proactive individual to join their dynamic team. This exciting opportunity has arisen due to an internal transfer within the organisation.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Posting and allocating sales/purchase invoices and cash/sales receipts
* Credit control
* Reconciling accounts
* Handling and resolving queries
* Preparing payment runs
* Completing monthly bank reconciliations
* Performing general finance and administration tasks
* Answering telephone enquiries
* Assisting with payroll

Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in sales/purchase ledger management
* Minimum of 3 years' experience with SAGE Accounts software
* Proficient in Excel
* Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
* Ability to work independently and use initiative
* Strong team player with a proactive and mature approach
* Previous experience in payroll assistance is highly desirable
