PM Transport Shift Manager

The PM Transport Shift Manager will be responsible for leading a dedicated team in the Logistics department, ensuring the smooth running of operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

This role will involve managing people, processes, and performance, in addition to developing strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.

Description

The PM Transport Shift Manager will be responsible for;

• Lead, motivate and develop a high performing team who offer a White Glove home delivery service.
• Ensure efficient and effective operational processes
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage performance and productivity metrics
• Foster a positive and collaborative working environment
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
• Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality service delivery
• Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making

Profile

A successful PM Transport Shift Manager should have:

• Proven experience in a leadership role within the Transport, retail or Home Delivery sector
• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage, lead, and motivate a team
• Capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using management information systems
• Commutable daily to Exeter
• Shifts will be Monday to Friday 2pm -10pm or Tuesday - Saturday 2pm -10pm
