Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer - Glasgow

Our client, an award-winning Energy contractor are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to work on several Power / Renewable Energy projects.

Location: Glasgow

Remuneration:

* £55 000 - £70 000 per annum plus car / car allowance & benefits

The Role overview

* Delivery of designs withing agreed timescales
* Working on multiple projects managing deadlines
* Effective communication with clients, consultants, and project engineers
* Provide technical support for the project engineers
* Manage strong client relationships
* Health and Safety management
* Prepare design packages for DNO contestable works and balance of plant (private) works from 11 kV to 132 kV
* Select HV and LV cables and design cable routes using CYMCAP and Amtech software
* Prepare multicore cable schedules
* Site inspection when required

Requirements

* 132KV experience
* Electrical Degree
* Enthusiastic approach to work
