Position: School Cleaner
Location: Hounslow
Hours:06.00 - 08.00 Monday to Friday
Salary: £13.15

• Ensure the school premises are kept clean, safe, and hygienic at all times.
• Clean classrooms, staff rooms, toilets, corridors, and other school facilities following the cleaning schedule.
• Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize surfaces, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and hand sanitisers.
• Safely use cleaning equipment and materials, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues observed during cleaning.
• Secure the premises when required, ensuring all windows and doors are locked.
• Support the school community by maintaining a welcoming and clean environment.

• DBS Certificate: A valid Enhanced DBS check is mandatory for this position (issued within the last 12 months or on the update service).
• Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and health and safety practices is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Punctual, reliable, and with a strong attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work occasional additional hours if required.
