• Annual Salary: £36,000 - £39,000 p.a.
• Location: Glasgow (Hybrid Working)

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client who have a global presence and are a household name. This role involves supporting the Head of Accounting and partnering with Finance Directors across multiple overseas territories. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring Payments and Sales data integrity and preparing key reconciliations. This role represents an opportunity for someone part-qualified, or with relevant experience, to step into a more senior role and eventually take on responsibility for overseeing a small team of Finance Analysts. Study support can be provided to those working toward their professional qualification.

• Review and sign-off monthly sales reconciliations performed by Financial Analysts.
• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly/quarterly schedules of Withholding Taxes deducted, reverse charge VAT postings, and VAT calculations.
• Provide support to the Management Accounting team and Finance Directors by reviewing monthly key reconciliations, assisting with carried forward reconciling items, and providing first review approval.
• Reconcile all sales and payments between financial systems across multiple territories.
• Analyse and present key differences.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as guided by the Director of Finance.
• Over time, assume responsibility for managing a team of 3 Financial Analysts responsible for processing all sales files.

• Experience in a similar role involving a large balance sheet and high-volume of transactions.
• Experience in large organisations with detailed processes and complex integrated systems.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Effective planning and workload scheduling.
• Strong attention to detail.
