My client, the UK's No.1 independent order fulfilment business, is seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join its growing team. The Role:

The Finance Assistant will play a key role in delivering accurate financial information to the business while gaining valuable experience to further support the finance function and its ambitious growth plans. Key Responsibilities:

• Daily monitoring of purchase orders and matching them to purchase invoices.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for procurement across the business.
• Producing weekly sales invoices.
• Completing weekly bank and statement reconciliations.
• Supporting month-end close for accounts payable and receivable.
• Assisting with month-end journals and preparing quarterly VAT returns.
• Processing bi-weekly payment runs and staff expenses.
• Supporting customs-bonded import/export administration.
