Lettings Consultant

Job title: Lettings Consultant (Mandarin Speaking)

Report to: Managing Director

Employment type: Full time, permanent

Salary range: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

Start date: ASAP

About the job

Letting & Tenant management:

1. Advertising the property via UK major property portals & company website

1. Recommending suitable properties to potential tenants and arranging property viewings according to potential tenants’ availabilities

1. Building good relationships and keeping regular contact with tenants

1. Administration including ID, credit & references checks for applicants and prepare tenancy agreements; arranging check-in and out for tenants

1. Delivering excellent customer service and ensuring all queries are answered with a high level of professionalism and integrity in timely manner

Property management:

1. Clearly being aware of which properties or rooms are unoccupied; need updating/repairing by liaising with our Maintenance Team; need cleaning by liaising with our cleaners

1. Ensuring all incoming property management issues are resolved in a timely manner

1. Communicating effectively with various stakeholders such as local council, landlords, tenants, and contractors to ensure the compliance and to provide cost-effective and most suitable solutions for the matters

1. Attending weekly company meeting virtually or at the office and escalating the issues to Managing Director on the meeting whenever needed to discuss & provide solutions

Skill and Experience Requirements

1. Demonstrated record of at least 2 years successful customer facing work experience

1. Effective communication skills

1. Work independently and as well as work with other teams collaboratively

1. Excellent problem-solving skills

1. Good customer service skills

1. Self-motivated and self-disciplined, fast learner

1. Full Clean UK driving license preferred

1. Good written and verbal communication in both English and Chinese is a MUST
