AJ Chambers is representing a top 15 firm in search of an Audit Assistant Manager.

Your role Responsibilities
- Manage client correspondence, scheduling, and audit planning.
- Supervise and review work of senior and junior staff, ensuring the file is complete and all review points are addressed before it is passed to the partner and manager
- Handle critical audit areas and occasional advisory work
- Monitor budgets, deadlines, and progress on audits
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff
- Assist with business development, tenders, and networking
- Conduct client on-site visits and appraisals
- Involved in tenders and presentations on audits & accounts
Your Qualifications needed
- ACCA/ACA qualified with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong audit experience (planning to completion)
- Up-to-date CPE and recent developments in accounting standards (SORP, FRS 102)
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Sage, CaseWare, and related software
- Supervisory experience and strong communication skills
