The Role

As Credit Control Senior Manager, you will lead the global credit control function, focusing on aligning processes and driving sustainable improvements across the firm. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to develop and implement best practices while supporting a high-performing team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the transformation of the credit control function into a centralised, standardised global model.
  • Leading the development and implementation of streamlined processes and procedures.
  • Focusing on people and team development, including identifying skills gaps and fostering a culture of growth.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the firm to align credit control practices with broader financial objectives.
  • Setting measurable targets and reporting progress on collections and key initiatives to senior stakeholders.
  • Reviewing and optimising the firm’s credit control systems to leverage their full potential.
  • Building strong relationships with partners, finance teams, and other internal stakeholders.

The Candidate

To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Significant experience in leading credit control teams, particularly during periods of change and transformation.
  • A proven track record in implementing people, process, and systems changes within a complex organisation.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with a focus on developing junior team members and fostering collaboration.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive results at all levels.
  • Commercial awareness and a client-focused mindset to deliver effective and sustainable solutions.
  • A growth mindset, with a commitment to learning and continuous improvement.
