We’re on the lookout for a Payroll Advisor to support our Payroll Team in delivering accurate and efficient monthly UK payroll services for approximately 2,000 employees. Please note: This position is available as a 12-month secondment.
What Will You Be Doing?
As a Payroll Advisor, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our payroll processes run smoothly. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Processing starters, leavers, and contractual pay changes.
- Administering and maintaining pension and benefit schemes.
- Calculating and processing overtime, commission, and bonus payments.
- Performing manual gross-to-net calculations to assist with queries.
- Conducting reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Responding to employee queries via the ticketing system, meeting SLA deadlines.
- Supporting the HR Operations Team and HR Business Partners with payroll-related queries.
- Processing court orders, tax codes, and student loan notices received from HMRC.
- Managing sickness and absences in line with company policies.
- Processing statutory and occupational leave payments.
What Are We Looking For?
We’d love to hear from you if you bring:
- Payroll qualification (CIPP or equivalent).
- Proven end-to-end payroll processing experience.
- Up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation.
- Experience using Cascade Payroll software.
- Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP functions.
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach.
- A team player mindset with a commitment to delivering accurate payroll results.
- Adaptability to changing demands and priorities.
